This award winning restaurant has built its reputation on top quality New Zealand cuisine that is unique to The Brantry with a sophisticated wine list to create a unique dinning experience. The Brantry is constantly at the forefront of Taupo’s dining experience and a recent stylish refurbishment in the original 1950s town house has allowed us to offer a variety of dining experiences from the intimacy of the Cellar, Alfresco Dining in the garden to the open plan upper level for larger groups. The Brantry is open 7 days and also offers a great environment for weddings and conferences.
The Brantry restaurant is run by the well known Taupo sisters, Prue and Felicity Campbell. Prue Campbell is an experienced chef who also spent time training overseas. She has won a number of Beef and Lamb Cuisine Awards and has received an even higher honour with selection as one of five top chefs in New Zealand and was named as a Beef and Lamb Ambassador.
Felicity who also spent time overseas in the industry, runs the front of house with a very professional, knowledgeable and welcoming team.
